Questions:

Q: What inspired you or led you to your current career?

A: I am a dental hygienist. I had broken up with a boyfriend and I said that I need to do something with my life. I worked in a hospital pharmacy and I didn’t want weekends, odd hours and stuff like that. My girlfriend was going to nursing school at a local vo-tech and I said: “Let me see your booklet.” I liked health care but I didn’t want to be a nurse, and there was something in the booklet about dental assisting and it sounded good, so I did it. It was like an 8-month course or something and shortly into it, I realized that really it wasn’t what I wanted to do but at that period I learned what dental hygienists do, which suited me better. I worked for 2 other offices for about 6 years before I landed at Dr. Iranmanesh’s.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in North Tampa, and what do you love there?

A: We like to go to Bonefish Grill a lot. And Thomas P’s Sports Bar and Patio, it’s a dog friendly restaurant and we like to bring our dog, Boomer, he has a great time there.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be? And why?

A: I’d say Hawaii because that was supposed to be our honeymoon, but we haven’t made it yet. I just love it and I think that even though I live in a tropical climate, Hawaii would just be an amplified version.
