Questions:

Q: What inspired you or led you to your current career?

A: It was always that way, I kind of fell in to it. I used to do inside sales when I initially came on to another company. And then they downsized the inside sales portion of it and the opportunity that was left was  pest control and I initially said “no” but when they told me what the pay was, I changed my mind and thought that I would reconsider it. I worked for that company for 10 years, I loved it so much but I just wanted to work for myself. So I started my own company.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in North Tampa, and what do you love there?

A: I would probably say right now, Sushi Alive. I love sushi so much.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in North Tampa?

A: I was born and raised here. We lived around Hillsborough and 15th Street at the time.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be? And why?

A: Probably somewhere like Israel. I am a God-fearing man and I would love to see the place where Jesus was.

Q: What is your favorite movie OR what is the first movie you remember seeing in a theater?

A: My favorite movie is The Book of Eli with Denzel Washington. It’s really a good movie. I like the acting and the plot of the movie.

Q: What advice would you give a crowd of people?

A: In whatever you’re doing, find purpose. I think one of the worst things there is to go through life and not have purpose.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?

A: My only bucket list is to go to Israel.

Q: What is your favorite music/ bands you would like to see (dead or alive)?

A: Very diverse. I like anywhere from the Kings of Leon, some rap, you name it because I’m all over the place. As for King Leon, I just like the uniqueness of their music.

Q: Who has the biggest positive impact in your life?

A: My wife. She’s been incredible, supportive and I couldn’t have done it without her.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about North Tampa?

A: It’s a big city with a small town feel. I mean, you could be in one edge of North Tampa and then all around the other side and you just know people that are connected with the community.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?

A: How in love with God I am. I am not a religious person instead I am a relational type of person.

Q: What 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?

A: Grace, Love and Peace.

Q: If you were cast into a major motion picture and had your choice of anyone to be your co-star, who would you choose?

A: Without second thought, it would be Denzel Washington. He’s a great guy and a great actor.

Q: Do you think knowing people in the community is still important or not so much anymore since we have internet and social media?

A: Absolutely, it is still important. I feel like the social media and the internet has really caused us to be disconnected in these times.Even seeing families go out and eat dinner and everybody has their phones in their hands. They’re experiencing Facebook but they missed the opportunity to communicate with their families in front of them.
